Summer boredom

Since it's 夏休み, a lot of students don't bother showing up to work. Which would be fine, except I can't relax unless I *know* they won't be there. As it is, I spend a lot of my lessons waiting for a student that never comes.

Or, even worse, only one student from a class of four shows up. Invariably, they're the most boring student of the class and make me want to kill myself in front of them just to get a reaction. I just had a student then, and I spent most of the class plotting his eventual firey doom.

Like having the human torch strangle him to death.

Or setting fire to his nasal hair, hoping it'll spread to his brain.

Fire death!

oh so positive Joshua, been there, and am a little scared to go back for that reason but doesnt it beat a real job?

Oh, it's so much better than real work that I often forget what real work is like. I mean, I'm complaining about not having to do anything.

Stop your bitching. At least you don't have to deal with a demented nut case who constantly hounds you while you're trying to look after 24 demented patients.

I HATE MY JOB!!!!!

Actually Nat, that doesn't sound too far from my job description. I guess kids and demented patients have a lot in common....well, except I can easily pick up my kids and throw them out the window.
