I'm in Melbourne.
I arrived yesterday afternoon a little worse for wear. I had suffered four consecutive late nights, and a long, long party at my place on Saturday night...um, well, I didn't really suffer these things...at least not until Sunday morning.
Anyways, I'm here now, sleeping at work, eating at work and living at work. It's going to be interesting doing this for a month, I shall have to work hard on setting some boundaries, but I think it will work out.
No television here, which is a major problem for someone like me (ie, a pop culture junkie). In anticipation of this issue, I brought a television card from my computer at home, however there is no coaxial cable either, so I will have to hunt some down before tomorrow night, or chance missing The O.C., my current trash-tv fixation.
As I type, Blair (the head of the Melbourne office and a director of the company) is cooking lamb cutlets for dinner. He lives here as well, so I guess there will be dinner duty sharing while I'm in Melbourne. That will be different, since I've become quite comfortable with seeing only to my own needs (as I get home quite late, Robin and I don't share the cooking load).
Well, after dinner I'm going to watch the next episode of Stargate Atlantis which Robin's friend Darren kindly brought to the party on Saturday. Ah, the internet truly is a wonderful beast. A new episode of a television show available half an hour after it airs in the U.S....
Dinner is served (or close enough), so I shall leave this cathode nipple, only to return to it as soon as my earthly body is sated.
Sorry.
