Breaking Through, Breaking Out

I always wondered why people hurried so much in peak-hour conditions. It always seemed to me that the only thing to look forward to was more traffic, so why fight it?

Well, not any more baby, not any more!

Yesterday, I was feeling antsy, hurried and generally like a Sydney driver. So, I embarked upon my morning's driving with more vigor and exuberance than usual. And O! how I drove.

I wove in and out, managing to fly my car over trucks and through the smallest of gaps, and then, it happened...

I was there! The promised land. The other side. Sydney's Shangri-La. The traffic-less zone.

I don't know if I'll ever see it again. But I do know that I will be searching for it forever more. I could be just one more lane change away, just one more amber light...

It really exists? I have only heard stories... of a place where road ragers go to die...

Oh, it exists my friend, and I have never seen anything more wondrous, more beautiful...

Okay, I think you've sucked in a little too much exhaust my friend.
