So, I got my job today at cvt. Craig woke me up at ~9am with the phone call and asked me to convince him I was the man for the job.
I told him that I wanted to springboard my career, right out of uni, so I would work hard, and that learning was a priority of mine, so I would be enthusiastic. Since hard work and learning are the company's two keywords, this seems to go down well with him. (Not to mention the fact that what I said was true)
I'm writing this in my new diary book, its pages are unlined and blue. Unlined is good, blue not so much, but I think I'll learn to like it.
My lamb burger just arrived, I'm eating at blu, so I'll pick this up in ten minutes.
That was excellent. The lamb burger consisted of perfectly grilled lamb, a turkish bread bun, hummus, tzatziki, tomato, and green and purple lettuce. I couldn't have asked for a better celebratory lynch. I'm just waiting now for a glass of apple juice, in my opinion a perfect non-alcoholic post lunch drink.
Now I have to think about my budget. I don't know what my fortnightly salary will be yet, but I already know most of my expenses. I'm thinking of limiting myself to one media purchase a fortnight, two dinners out, and perhaps $100 spending money (still not sure about that.) I'll be getting a company car straight away, so there'll be petrol expenses, and my desire for a 40GB iPod will be finally realised. Apart from that, I don't think I'll be making any grand purchases, as the plan this year is to save up pour voyager en France.
Anyway, I think it's time I returned chez moi (ok, that's la dernire fois), and check my mail. Nat, you'll be pleased to know it was cloudy apple juice.
Au relire, mes amis.

hip hip hooray hip hip hooray. Just don't get too drunk when you are celebrating eh?
Thanks, I'll try not too! :-)
Huzzah for cloudly apple juice
Felicitations! Bon travail!
Work hard, but dont forget to do other stuff. Hopefully see you soon (but proabably not with this job and all).
Tres bien chance!
